What can ordinary people do to help in the fight against crime?

Crime has become in a big problem for our society. In these years, crime has been increased because of the poverty, socials environment and families’ structures, and we can evidence that in television programs, or sometimes those just appear in front of us.

What do we do against Crime? The answer is nothing, we are just passive people who are involved with this problem, but we never do anything, because we are afraid of it. We live in society and as citizens we have the duty to give the fight against it. This is not only a government’s problem it concerns to all of us.

There are many ways which can help us to stop this trouble. To educate people about this problem is fundamental because we can show all of the disadvantages that crime brings. Also create communities in the neighborhood that support to each other in case of vandalism or burglary.

Do not bear that this people leave us living in the shadows. We are part of this society and we should walk around our streets with freedom of all of this kind of crime.

COMPOSITION.

It should be illegal for parent to hit their children.

In chile is not allowed hit or give a bad threat to children, it is a illegal action and the parents of children hitted can have a big problem.
To hit children is a crime because they are indefense people they depend their parents and the parents are responsable of the life of their sons or daugthers for that in Chile this action is punished. Also the bad threat psicological is punished but it is more difficult to know although the boy tell us what happen with him.
Furtherfore we have telephone numbers where you can say or reveal the bad threat that the children suffer in this way we can help them we are not allow the parents have the responsality take care of their children because they are not able.
In additional information parents can lose your role like tutor of their children and lose the contact with them.
In conclusion we have take concience about the take care of our children and try to educate them in the best way possible.

Mid-term writing task.

Many thanks for give me this opportunities to participe in this competition I am very happy to know I won first prize in your competition and stay with us two weeks at Camp California in the USA.
According your question I would like to travel only july because I will be on holidays in this way I wont fail about the attendance in the university. About the accomodation at Camp California I prefer stay in log cabins because I considerer it is more comfort for me and I will be more concentrate for to compete.
The activities that I would like to do are swimming and tennis because I have experience mainly with sport tennis I always play with my brothers and they have learned me a lot. Respect the swimming activities I love the water and I think that I will do it very well.
I would like to ask the kind of clothes I have to wear,I mean How is the weather on the Camp California and I would like to know how much money I have to carry there.
I hope you can answer as soon as possible because I need to organize it before.

Wine festival (vendimia)

Dear Carmen

Sorry it's taken me so long to write, but as you know I have been organizing my move to molina. In this place the wine festival is made. Do you rememeber when I said you about this festivals?well now I tell you this festival is very important for all people of molina because they celebrate the grape is ready for to pick. The last friday finished the celebrations it last the whole week. always the municipality of molina makes a lot of activities connected with the wine for all people as you imagine everyone was very drunk I think that nobody work during that days. therefore you undersatnd that it is very important for this small town.

The first day I went with my boyfriend to parade ground of molina there was 2 chilean bands called sinergia and chancho en piedra and it was fantastic this kind os events is completely free, everyday molina had singers, bands and alot of activities.

Unfortunately, people was arrested for their state of drunk and they can't enjoy of festival.But as you imagine I enjoy all activities and all concerts together my boyfriend it was the best week it was like my vacations. I would like you can enjoy with me the next festival.

As I carefully entered the haunted house, the door shut behind me and....................................

I felt frightened I din't want to see what thing was behind me so I thought the wind has closed the door. I am curious to know what happened in that house I was very valient because I was alone and the house was cold and dark but I walked a few step and suddenly I felt somebody touch my shoulder in that moment I was terrified I want to shout but I have lost one's voice. I don't know what happened because I woke up in a large aisles alone.

the best way to travel in santiago

Personally, I think the best way to travel in santiago nowadays is the subway.

Firstly, the subway has directions for the whole santiago , it comes each town and it closer to people fot to arrive their homes and works.

Secondly the subway was designed for all kind of people, it means the disable people have a easy access to it this has benefited a lot their lifes. As you can imagine, before, in several years ago, we had buses fot travel into santiago and the disable people had a lot of problems because the buses didn't have comfort for to get on easy into it. Today we have buses that it was designed especially for this people and now their lifes are more easy.

Another aspect important is the BIP card we have to use for to pay the fare of the subway or the bus. Consequently the people feel less fear. Before the people suffer assaults in to the bus but now they don't need to have money in their pockets therefore the robbers know can't rob them.

To conclude the best way to travel into santiago is the subway because it has an easy access, is very fast and it is in all parts of this city.

I prefer the travel stories Swimming with turtles at pulau because is a place spectacular where you can enjoy and discovery the 2 island with a nice wheather, to sahring with animals like the turtles, species of the sea and you can know things you think that it don't exist. moreover in this islands you can rest and to have a great moment. while in the other trip the person who traveled there don't have a good moment, I think they don't enjoy because they found other culture and they had to adapt it.
